Introduction（导言）
From the beginning to the end of the Cold War， the relationship between USA and Asia-pacific countries has changed greatly. After the Cold War， there has developed a multi-polar situation of mutual checks and balances by USA， Japan， Russia， China， and ASEAN in the Asia-Pacific. The Sino-US-Japan triangular relationships are the key factors in the region. In recent years， the tread of economic integration is emerged in the area. How did the situations change during the Cold War and how to shape the new trends affected by the end of the Cold War? These will be analyzed in the following.
（正文）How did the situations change during the Cold War?
In 1950， China and the Soviet Union signed the ‘Sino-Soviet Friendship， Alliance and Mutual Assistance Treaty’  The Sino-Soviet alliance should break the US blockade ………..US-Japan axis emerged as the most important.’  From the mid and late of 1960s，………… triangular order’ ， and ‘the all three powers utilized the structure to their own advantage’ . ………. to the US portion at that time.’  From the late of 1980s， ………..achieved.’  These new relationships are marking for the end of the cold war structure in the Asia-Pacific. 
How to shape the new trends affected by the end of the Cold War?
1. The Multipolar Structure
After the Cold War， there were unbalanced multi-polar pattern dominated by USA， Japan， Russian， China and ASEAN in the Asia-Pacific area. …………. maintain the overall balance and relative stability.’  The US and China as the two powerful centers play a leading role for the Asia-Pacific region’s stability and development. ‘The Sino-US relations are marked by mutual influences.’  The development of Sino-US relations is bound to lead to a new definition of the relationships between China， US， Japan， Russia， ASEAN.
………..didn’t reach a consensus in some internal affairs， and a final agreement about the common targets is still missing. The regional role of ASEAN is also limited by this.
